#Eyedrops of Revelation

#A long time ago, during the Imperial era, a certain alchemist believed that eyedrops of his own design would allow him to see the Divine. His prior disregard for the norms of alchemical science, freely using vitae and mors as he wished, had already alarmed authorities within the guild. Upon hearing of his dangerous attempt to transcend the boundaries of the world, they endeavored to arrest him before he could bring harm to himself and others.

The authorities were too late, however, arriving at his remote atelier just in time to witness him place the drops into his eyes. It is said that he crumpled to the floor and began to talk of a separate plane of existence, entirely unlike our own, ruled over by strange machines. He was summarily detained and imprisoned, where he would babble about his visions, unheeded, until he expired some years later.
